Medical Assistance in Dying, or MAID, is typically reserved for terminally ill patients, such as those dying of cancer. Canada has been in the news recently for talk of it being offered as an alternative for poverty. Some are also looking to it for depression and other mental health issues.
Do you think this is ethical? What do you think should be the grounds at which a person should be able to apply for MAID?
