Now that 2022 is coming to an end, I think it would be appropriate to make this thread as this is the last full year of the early 2020s (Mid 2020s officially begin in May 2023).
I gotta say despite all the craziness in the world that went on during this era (pandemic, war, civil unrest) I'm gonna miss the early 2020s. This era was a big change for me and a growth period. I will look back fondly at it in my personal life. Plus music was really good for the most part in the early 2020s. I also have a feeling the situation in the world will get even worse in the mid 2020s so people will look back at this period as pretty tame compared to what will come.
Looking forward to change and see what the mid 2020s will bring us, but this New Years feels like a close for an era of sorts. And I will look back fondly at this time in my personal life with all the growth that I went through.
