There's a better vibe out and about now IMO and more of the 10's has faded away but I wouldn't say there's been major changes. I agree that we're building on what was still being introduced then.

I agree, 2020-2021 was dark like no other era before and since 2020, in particular, was an absolute hellscape for the world. Sure, it wasn't 1346-Plague bad, but when it came to the pandemic and politics that year, absolute yikes. It felt like a modern-day 1929 and 1968 mixed together.

I was thinking about this a few days ago. To me, 2020 and 2021 felt similar because of COVID-19. During those two years we had to quarantine, wear masks, pretty much stay home it felt like 2020 had dragged on for a while. And now 2023 feels so different.
