Did these movies represent the early 2010s teen experience ?

When people bring up the conversation of what’s the “Mean Girls” of the last decade, I’m surprised they never bring up or forget about 21 jump street or even project X. I remember in middle school everyone quoting or eager to watch those 2 movies as much I thought they were kinda silly. The Duff and the edge of 17 were pretty niche movies and dramas most teens during that time probably missed with the exception being “the perks of being a wallflower” thanks to Twitter.

What do y’all think, do y’all feel these 2 movies will go down in the future as the representatives of that era. The yolo/swag era lol
