While Dragon Tales came out in 1999, at the tail-end of the decade, I always felt like it could've come out much earlier. One important thing to note is that the first season of this show did not use digital ink and paint, but rather cel animation. As an example, here's a screenshot from the first season, which aired 1999-2000... ...and a screenshot from the second season, that aired 2001-2002: Despite technically airing more in the 2000s by a longshot, I still get the vibes of a calm, inviting cartoon while watching it, similar to Franklin and Little Bear, both of which came out significantly earlier. What do you guys think?

90s. It looks too pretty to be a 2000s cartoon even if it mostly run in the 2000s
2000s cartoons had that polished digital look, dragon tales looked hand painted
