Is anyone on Popedia a fan of the cricket? I don't like cricket at all, to be honest. I would rather watch paint dry.

Not as much as I used to. One day cricket is boring and predictable. T20 is too over hyped. Give me a 5 day test match anytime.

I'm not a Cricket fan myself, and yes I get bored while I watch my cousin on the BBL... Cricket in general always had me like:

I don't know why families spend money just to watch a bunch of men standing on a cricket field all day.

And the big thing I hate about Cricket on TV is that the commentators always go off topic. For example, during the BBL they were focusing on a Donkey video...

I'm not a Cricket fan myself, and yes I get bored while I watch my cousin on the BBL... Cricket in general always had me like: I don't really like it, I found it quite boring at times. Similar scenario (Though a different sport), my Uncle played for Geelong in the AFL. I can never really get enthused into conversations he has about AFL.

I don’t mind the BBL format of the game actually. As for the other forms like ODI’s, Tests etc. I’m like SharksFan99, I would find watching paint dry far more entertaining!

Don’t forget all the breaks they have in between this. Morning tea after 30 minutes or so after the start of play, 30 minutes of lunch an hour or so later, then there’s afternoon tea another hour later (don’t forget the drinks break 30 minutes after that!). Just think, if they didn’t have all these breaks in play the Tests would be completed in a few days instead of 5 long days! And the big thing I hate about Cricket on TV is that the commentators always go off topic. For example, during the BBL they were focusing on a Donkey video... To be fair, the commentators on most sports do exactly same thing. I’ve seen it on NRL, AFL etc etc. before. And the big thing I hate about Cricket on TV is that the commentators always go off topic. For example, during the BBL they were focusing on a Donkey video... The channel 10 commentators are just half wits. Harsh.... but true! Andy Maher is by far the worst. Mark Waugh and “Howie” are pretty awful too IMO.

Mark Waugh hates the Adelaide Strikers. It comes across in his commentary. They only have 2 breaks in cricket Play for 2 hours, lunch is 40 minutes. Play another 2 hours, tea is 20 minutes, play another 2 hours, not that much really when you compare to Rugby, every 2 minutes, they sniff someones arse. Even tennis, every 5 or so minutes they have a 60 second break.

I remember I read a post once on another website, which stated that the BBL is essentially the "McDonalds of sport". That's a pretty good way of describing it. BBL isn't proper cricket and I say that as someone who doesn't like the sport at all!

Even tennis, every 5 or so minutes they have a 60 second break. He makes no secret of his dislike for the Hobart side either. To put it bluntly, Waugh is a biased piece of 💩. In case you haven’t pick up on the fact, Mark is a Sydney Thunder man through and through (not quite sure how no one could miss that one though! 😜). He can’t see past that mob and makes excuses as to why they lose to better teams etc etc. As I said, so bias that man. Have never liked him. Haha, I’m fully aware of that. More of a joke than anything. However, they do seem to dawdle and waste loads of time during Tests.
