If you won the lottery, what would you spend the money on? In the very slim chance that I won the lottery, I have a few ideas on what I would do with the money. First off, I would put a fair amount of the money in my bank account. I would also buy a new car and buy a property in Tasmania! To be honest, I would also give money to my parents and grandparents, as well as giving a bit of money to charity.

Similar to you, I would put a lot in my bank account, buy a house and car and then give the rest to family and friends and then donate to charity.

I feel bad now cause most likely the first thing I would do is buy a new house out of state by moving out, buy a bunch of stuff I don’t exactly need and other things I do need now that I can afford it,
And the rest to charity and save up haha

First thing once it reached my account would be to give money to friends and family.
I would buy a nice house and plan a holiday somewhere hot. Maybe even buy a holiday villa there too.

Given the circumstances, I think most people would use the money to buy stuff that isn't really needed.

Knowing me I'll still be a cheapskate and bike to the drug store instead of paying the bus fare.

If you won the lottery, what would you spend the money on? Easy - me, myself and I.

Easy - me, myself and I. But what about your family? Yeah, I’d throw a few crumbs their way, what? Nah, just joking! The obvious things really. Like putting some away into my account, giving some to family, go on an extended holiday amongst other things. Don’t think I’ll have to worry about any of this though. Won’t happen lol!

That's fair enough. You never know! I'm sure the people who have won the lottery never thought that they would win it.

Like this person who is $55 million richer? www.sbs.com.au/news/55-million-winner-remains-a-mysteryI can’t believe no one has still come forward to claim their winnings (except a few people claiming it’s theirs which it clearly wasn’t)!

What would I do in the less than 0.001% chance of winning the lottery?
Probably get a financial expert to determine what's best - there's too many stories around of people blowing their winnings in an amazingly short amount of time followed by a tough reality check.
