What is your favourite decade for gaming and why? I'm not much of a gamer, so this is a hard question to answer. I voted for "other", because I personally think the Late '90s/Early 2000s were a good era for gaming. A lot of my favourite childhood games were released during this period, such as "Driver 3", "Hulk" and "Runabout 2".

“Other” for sure. The 90s and up until through to the mid-2000s was easily the best period for gaming with many memorable titles.

Its hard for me to choose between the 90's and 2000's. Both decades produced so many classics!

Currently, I play mid to late 2010's games the most while also playing a lot of older late 90's and 00's games. If I had to choose a decade, it'd be between the 00's and 10's, but I'm not sure between those two.

The 90s and 00s because both eras revolutionized gaming to where the creators took risks to develop excellent games and reach new heights.

2000s, it started off with the last of the N64 and PS1 games, and gave birth to the 6th and 7th gen consoles.

2000s, it started off with the last of the N64 and PS1 games, and gave birth to the 6th and 7th gen consoles. I thought you had to choose only one decade. Well, my favorite gaming generation is the 7th (Wii, PS3, Xbox 360).

The decade spanning 1991-2001, so the '90s basically. Each year felt completely revolutionary and developers tried new and innovative things.
I liked 2007-2011 to a lesser for much the same reason. The introduction of online gaming was really exciting and the rise of Steam/XBLA/PSN gave a space to many creative indie games.
Honourary mention to the late 1980s. I've been discovering more of the Sega Master System and TurboGrafx 16 library and there are so many hidden gems, especially ones that never left Japan.

The 2000s.
One problem with the 1990s is that most of the early 3D games did not age well.

Picked 2000s cuz that's the decade I played the most games from, so any opinion on it has more ground
Sorry 2010s, just not into gaming these last years sadly!
