Is it just me or did AI explode in popularity now in ways it didn’t back in the 2010s. Sure we had Siri, but not stuff like chatgpt or Snapchat AI. Where do you think this is going to lead towards the end of the decade ?

AI technology is advancing at such a rapid pace, it's actually kind of scary. And there's no sign of slowing down as many companies are either in the process of or at least considering adopting new AI solutions.
I can definitely see the job market being disrupted by this. Many jobs like accountants, data analysts and graphic designers will probably become obsolete by the end of this decade, or at least heavily reduced.

That sounds scary Do you think there’s a middle ground in all this where AI can have regulations so it doesn’t put people out of business and actually be helpful.

Unfortunately you never have to underrate the greediness of companies. If they can remove workforce and refer to cheaper alternatives instead, they will. I'm assuming human intervention will still always be needed. But what a whole team of workers could previously do, only one or two and AI will be able to. There are already early signs here in 2023: The job market and life in general is about to change in an unprecedented degree in the next few years.
