80s: A conservative guy in his early 20s who is obsessively nostalgic about the past 90s: The eccentric but funny kid 00s: Edgy, antisocial kid who likes rap and punk rock 10s: Really annoying girl that tries too hard to be quirky but really just has a generic personality and tastes You are so-far spot on about the 2010s, but I’d also add that this person is obsessed with social causes, and is extremely preachy. They like canceling people over the smallest things, and they retweet drama. They can’t shut up about Donald Trump either. They also like taking selfies and believe it unironically defines their life. Their taste in music is terrible, ranging from the most obnoxious of dubstep to the painful mediocrity of Imagine Dragons. They also voted for Hilary Clinton for literally no other reason than “she’s a woman”. Basically a low-IQ SJW who likes shitty music. Sums it up. Complete medicore or shitty tastes in basically everything, an abyssmal taste in music, obnoxious sense of humor(somehow she manages to find the same joke posted on the internet everyday for 3 years funny). She pretends to be "not like those other girls" but is just boring as hell even her "quirky" facade is basic and obnoxious. She's also extremely narcissistic and constantly fishes for validation points on social media like facebook and instagram by posting selfies. Her boyfriend is a soyboy who has an overly grown beard dresses like its the 1950s gets cucked on the weekends plays cuphead om his Nintendo switch and listens to shitty watered down rock bands like imagine dragons.

So here are MY takes on it
1950s: Traditional patriotic good ol boy who loves his family and America. He never cusses, and he always says please and thank you. He always does what he's told, and blindly trusts what the media and authority figures tell him.
1960s: Counter-cultural hippie who loves weed and LSD. The only thing he hates more than war is meat. He hates his parents and calls them squares for not being rebellious. Despite his constant "peace and love" rhetoric, he also thinks it's justifiable to use violence for political causes.
1970s: Pretentious middle-aged guy who loves classic and especially progressive rock and New Hollywood movies. He's constantly bragging about his supposedly superior taste in pop culture. He's also promiscuous as hell. He thinks Pong is the most fun video game ever made and that Scooby-Doo clones are the pinnacle of animation.
1980s: Rockstar who embodies the "sex drugs and rock n roll" lifestyle to the extreme. Says "rad" and "totally" every 5 seconds and begins every sentence with "like". When he's not busy drinking, doing cocaine, or getting laid, he's either playing obnoxiously loud heavy metal in his garage or in the arcade trying to defeat people's high score. Though overall fun to be around, he clearly has a drug problem.
First half of the 1990s: Sarcastic teen who says "whatever" as a response to almost everything. He worships Kurt Cobain and is also a heroin addict. He's also a slacker who's constantly sitting on the couch watching TV and playing video games. He loves all the latest alternative bands and hates anything mainstream, yet his resistance to the mainstream and conformity is what made him popular.
Second half of the 1990s: Teen girl who just got the internet hooked up for the first time. She is obsessed with pop groups like Spice Girls, N Sync, and Backstreet Boys. When she's not busy "surfin' the net" or desperately trying to get tickets to see Hanson, she's playing either collect-a-thon platformers like Banjo-Kazooie and Spyro, or playing Pokemon and "trying to catch em all". She one day hopes to become a web developer to make lots of money.
First half of the 2000s: Cynical teenage dude who loves Newgrounds, South Park, and Adult Swim cartoons. He is basically what you'd classify as an "edgy nerd", one who loves video games and technology, but also skateboarding, adult cartoons, and crude humor. He is constantly seen playing Halo on his Windows XP computer in his spare time, or messing with people on MSN chat rooms. His main hobby is making Flash animations whilst listening to pirated Linkin Park songs on Winamp.
Second half of the 2000s: Emo girl who is constantly checking her MySpace and text messages on her BlackBerry phone. She is obsessed with anime, ESPECIALLY Naruto and Death Note, although she also loves Avatar: The Last Airbender and thinks it's anime. She is often seen making AMVs of her favorite shows with Three Days Grace and Daughtry playing over them. If she's not doing that, she's making fanfiction and drawing fanart. Her MySpace page is heavily customized with emo and bling imagery.
First half of the 2010s: Obnoxious dudebro who always says "YOLO" and "SWAG" and is constantly posting selfies like there's no tomorrow. He loves playing Call of Duty and thinks Nintendo games are for little kids. Ironically however, he LOVES My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and masturbates to porn of it. Has the worst taste of music you can think of: Justin Bieber, One Direction, dubstep, electropop. He thinks that asdfmovie and Annoying Orange are the pinnacle of comedy. He is also obsessed with Facebook.
Second half of the 2010s: College-aged social justice warrior who is constantly preaching about racism and homophobia, and thinks it is pervasive in every single aspect of culture. She gets extremely easily offended, about as non-chill and non-laidback as you can get. When not doing this, she is constantly playing the victim card about how oppressed she is and is constantly bragging about her status as a homosexual transgender black overweight disabled female. She's a minimalist to an unbearable degree: no posters, no decorations, nothing. She also thinks superhero movies and Disney remakes are the pinnacle of cinema.

Also, assuming these are real people, I imagine that "second half of the 2010s" would be in a relationship with the 60s, sharing their love of activism and social justice. They also share the same mindset of "violence is OK if the person is racist". On the other hand, she'd almost certainly hate the first half of the 2000s, due to his generally apathetic attitude towards everything, including social justice, and his politically incorrect and edgy sense of humor, clashing with second half of the 2010s overly serious and woke personality. In contrast, first half of the 2000s would hate second half of the 2010s preachiness and lack of tech-savviness, as she only knows how to use a smartphone, and thinks Androids are for losers.

2010s - Early 30s-woman, is very spoken about her opinions, sometimes to point of annoyance of other people. Is ecologically consious, goes shopping to indie brands and loves to catches up on the latest trends on social media. Binge-watching Youtube and Netflix is among her favorite pastimes. Stays away from drugs.Eh, I don’t know about that. Weed legalization, vaping, and Xanax being the new cool drug in the rap scene certainly doesn’t make it seem that way. I don't even remember what this was supposed to reference. I think I read some reports about the increase in awareness of risks of taking drugs and the general popularization of drug alternatives, but I don't even think drug use has declined anyway.

That literally sounds more like the 80s/early 90s than the 2010s, with all those anti-drug PSAs and the "Just Say No" campaign. And we ALL KNOW how drug-filled that era was.

Alternate responses for each of the decades, since I can’t get enough of this topic.
1950s: A boring father who has very strict and traditional views on everything. He lives in the suburbs with his wife, who is a typical housewife archetype. He disapproves of new ideas and dissidence. He dislikes women who act tough and crude. He gets offended by curse words and fart jokes. He has closet bigoted attitudes toward homosexuals and blacks. He says Grace at the dinner table every evening and is constantly preaching about the American way. He also sucks up to capitalism, police officers, and authority figures in general.
1960s: A teenager rebelling against his “square” father, he lives in a commune with his hippie friends, where he does hard drugs and lives an experimental lifestyle. He can be seen protesting various social causes such as war, environmentalism, racism, homosexual rights, veganism, you name it. He worships John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix.
1970s: A black twentysomething who loves funk and disco music. He lives in a really shitty neighborhood of Philadelphia, with lots of crime and poverty. He has a big afro, with tons of leather and wood grain in his house. Despite his guilty pleasure love of disco, he has an overall serious demeanor, with a generally cynical view on life.
1980s: A rockstar who plays in a hair metal band, lots of spandex, glitter, and hairspray. His band has synthesizers and long guitar solos in every song. He has a larger-than-life persona. He likes to act like a macho tough guy, with his love of rock music, action and horror movies, and overall being a rebellious teenage “Dude”. He’s very optimistic, especially for the future, and has a strong interest in computers and video games (especially arcade). He also hates the Soviets and loves buying stuff at the mall.
1990s: A snarky teenage girl that lives in Seattle who loves listening to Nirvana and Alanis Morrissette. She has a very eccentric personality. You can see her acting crazy and goofy from time to time. She makes fun of herself a lot and has a very ironic tone. She’s also quite childish. She loves cartoons, Disney movies, and video games and laughs at farts. She has aspirations of becoming a web developer and making tons of money but right now she just has a shitty GIF-filled GeoCities page.
2000s: A 16-year old guy who loves listening to rap music and, though middle-class now, has aspirations of becoming a rich dude in a mansion. He has a custom car that he blasts out either bling rap or emo pop punk. He also has a MySpace page with black and pink sparkly aesthetics that he posts daily on. He swears constantly and likes anything violent or sexy, especially both. He loves reality shows like Pimp My Ride and The Simple Life and can be seen following celebrities and what they’re up to on the regular. However, he also has depression and self-esteem issues which he expresses through writing angsty fan fiction of Harry Potter, Anakin from Star Wars, Death Note, and Avatar: The Last Airbender, as well as his love for bands like Linkin Park, Green Day, and My Chemical Romance.
2010s: A politically correct college-age social justice warrior who constantly preaches about how racist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, and overall “problematic” everything in the world is. They go by they/them pronouns and pretend to be trans despite not actually being so just so they can play the victim card and win sympathy points from fellow SJWs. They are obsessed with social media and their smartphone and want to become an influencer. They cry every time they lose a follower. They are constantly seen posting selfies and following trends. They like to pretend to care about other people but really, they are incredibly narcissistic and selfish. Even if they don’t have the materialism of the 80s and 00s personas, they manage to be far more unlikable without either of their charm. The saddest moment in their lives was when they dropped their iPhone in the toilet. Oh yeah, and they love and shill for iPhones and Apple products and make fun of people who have an Android. They also only watch superhero movies and literally nothing else. They liked The Lion King remake because “OMG it was so realistic”.

Good idea for a topic @wobo ! I have also added in what the personalities (MBTI) types of the decades would be. Here is my take on it; 1950s (ISTJ) - Middle-aged man; conservative, rational and sticks to past traditions. Judgemental and not entirely embracing of (i.e rock and roll) new ideas. 1960s (IxFP) - College-aged student. Experimental, wants to make an impact on the world and support minority groups. Open to new ideas and is forward thinking. 1970s (INFP) - A 30-something year old. Still open to new ideas and forward thinking, but has settled down from their earlier years (the 1960s). 1980s (ESFP) - 20-something year old. Bright, flamboyant, extroverted and bubbly. Everything is exciting and new. 1990s (ISFP) - Teenage girl. Feels alienated from everyone, wants to stay authentic and true to herself. 2000s (ISFJ) - Male adolescent. Frustrated with their life, but unwilling to let go of past ideas. Overcomes their depression towards the end of the decade (e.g emergence of electropop and 2010s culture).2010s (ISFP) - Early-20s male. Hipster, likes to adopt new technologies and follow alternative trends (i.e "gluten" free). Marches to the beat of their own drum. 1950s - Boring, clean cut 30s-man with conservative views and strict traditionalism. Doesn't approve of new ideas, discribing them as wild and disgraceful, and is incredibly judgemental. 1960s - Late 20s-woman who lived a cookie-cutter life with her boring 1950s husband before emancipating and going on a spree of novel ideas like testing on hard drugs and nudity. 1970s - Depressed early 40s-woman who comes home from work to listen to sad soft rock ballads while being drunk and smoking marihuana. Goes to the disco at night to dance it off. 1980s - Eccentric 20s-man with a bright fashion sense. Is incredibly greedy, demanding and selfish, and goes to the mall every week-end for buying the latest stuff. Loves to put his radio on, watching his Mtv and stroking up some cocaine. 1990s - Very self-concious and ironic man in his late teenagerhood. Is doing very well in life, but still boasts cynic views about the world and society as a whole. He's described as an accepting and respectful person, but still quite self-centered and egocentric.2000s - Early 20s-woman addicted to parties and urban music. While she has usually a bubbly, borderline bimbo persona, she boasts sometimes a traumatized and anxious side and uses it as show off through a dark fashion phase on blogs and social media.2010s - Early 30s-woman, is very spoken about her opinions, sometimes to point of annoyance of other people. Is ecologically consious, goes shopping to indie brands and loves to catches up on the latest trends on social media. Binge-watching Youtube and Netflix is among her favorite pastimes. Stays away from drugs. 1950s: A 17 year old boy who is a greaser and listens to Rock N Roll which is disapproved by his conservative parents. 1960s: A 20 year old woman who is against the Vietnam War and goes to psychedelic shows. 1970s: A 25 year old man who goes to the disco clubs to dance his problems away while getting affected by the terrible economy. 1980s: A 16 year old boy who watches MTV all day and has ridiculous haircuts. Wears bright pastel clothing. 1990s: A 17 year old boy who is moody and sarcastic, wears oversized plaid shirt and ripped jeans. 2000s: A 19 year old girl who is very preppy, a MySpace addict, has studded accessories. 2010s: A 21 year old woman who is very quirky, goes to coffee shops everyday, is a Tumblr and Instagram addict. So here are MY takes on it 1950s: Traditional patriotic good ol boy who loves his family and America. He never cusses, and he always says please and thank you. He always does what he's told, and blindly trusts what the media and authority figures tell him. 1960s: Counter-cultural hippie who loves weed and LSD. The only thing he hates more than war is meat. This makes 0 sense
All these things you listed contradict each other, you're just naming cultural movements
A personification doesn't need to be specific like that, you only need to describe the general vibes of the time

Either it'll be a hyperactive teenage girl, who loves Justin Bieber and One Direction, constantly posts on Facebook, and watches Smosh and Annoying Orange religiously. Or it'll be a New Atheist nerd who loves My Little Pony, Minecraft, and dubstep music. In either case, they love random humor and anything surreal and over-the-top. That's really the glue that holds early 2010s culture together, the random over-the-top nature of everything back then.

2000s: a young guy who wears triple X white T's and drives a candy paint Hummer with spinning rims, blasting snap music. Calls his girlfriend "shawty". His best friend is an edgy antisocial dude who listens to punk and nu metal. 10s: quirky but at the same time basic young woman who is a vegan hipster. Constantly posts on Instagram and Tumblr. Her brother is a wannabe mumble rapper with red braids and face tattoos. 20s so far: an old diseased conservative person who is constantly nostalgic for the 80s. Their grandchildren want to grow and do things but are constantly held down by pressure from them. The hipsters of the 2010s were obsessed with bacon, the quintessential food of the 2010s. This current decade is more vegan-oriented than the 10s if anything.

Don’t forget those trendy burger places with hanging lights and steel chairs. That was such a 2010s trend in general.
