LOL my personality is basically some kind of amalgam of these. My personality/taste in media IRL is basically a mixture of 1994 grunge/alt-rock/Gen X, 2006 emo/MySpace/Hot Topic, and 2016 YouTube culture. Yes, I am indeed an edgelord LMAO For the most part though, my vibe is like a 2012-13 Tumblrina who was an early '00s kid.

I think Telso hit the nail on the head with the 2000s While I do agree with Mr Shruggie's description of the decade, I think you could also make a case for the 2000s having the persona of a teenager. I've read comments from people online whom regard the 2000s as being the most "teenage-focused" decade of all time, so that could say something. I definitely agree. The 2000s were materialistic, raunchy, angsty, and cliquey, all of which are teenage stereotypes. Combine that with the popularity of teen movies and teen sitcoms in the decade, and it definitely gives the decade a strong teenage feel. There was even a game that took place in high school called Bully.
