 A bit of an improvement from last year! Yeah, for some reason, i've got a Melbourne IP address (even though I don't live in Victoria). It has been like that since we switched over to the NBN. Some sites think I'm in Perth, especially 9Now and it annoys me since it won't let me watch VIC livestreams unless I use 'inspect element'..

Sometimes I feel like going on 9Now so I don't have to watch Nine News Illawarra, but whenever I do, i'm always directed to the VIC livestream. It can be pretty frustrating.

That's not too bad. Just out of curiosity, do you have the NBN yet? Yup. I was hooked up a couple of years ago.  I’m generally getting better upload speeds out of peak times, but my download doesn’t vary too much (that doesn’t worry me though as download is reasonably good as is). I’m really jealous of a mate who lives 5 minutes from the city and they are getting speeds like this!    EDIT: Just to make clear, he’s getting FTTP whereas it’s FTTN for me. Quite a big difference.

Recently got a new modem, and the speeds have definitely improved.
 Here's my 4G speed after switching from amaysim to Aldi Mobile:
