46C coming up this Saturday. Lovely day that's gonna be  You should come down to Hobart. Only going to get to a mild top of 33c in comparison!

The forecast for Friday morning is -24C with wind gusts of 50 km/h from the Arctic pushing the windchill down to -38C.  If it turns out to be true, that will be the coldest weather I've ever experienced.  Haha. For your sake, I hope the temperature doesn't drop that low. Well, I just got back and walked through -35C for about 10 minutes. My face was really cold even though I covered it with a scarf. Not deathly cold like it was when I wasn't wearing it, but still pretty cold, and my hands were getting cold in my pockets even though I was wearing mittens on top of sports gloves (two layers of gloves)! I need to get a better jacket, it wasn't made for this weather haha. And not to be outdone, the forecast for Friday night got even worse! It's now -40C with windchill!! The -37C in the morning is looking balmy now. God damn it, my atheist prayers stopped working T_T I'll start wearing a burqa to cover my face.

That way, if I get caught robbing a bank and the police try to take my mask off, they'll think that the mask was a natural part of my face.  An interesting thing I learnt today is that the celsius and Fahrenheit scales cross at exactly -40C. That is to say, -40C = -40F. Below that, and the Fahrenheit value will actually be lower than the celsius value.

Meanwhile, for much of South Australia and Victoria regions tomorrow they are expecting tops of well over 40c! And don’t feel left out NSW, your turn is on Sunday with near 40c for the City and mid-40s out West. 🔥

I didn't ask for this  I didn't know it could get into the mid-40s in Australia. You should send some of that heat over here. I took out the garbage in the morning in my short sleeve shirt at -38C. Brave or stupid? It was only for a minute though. It took me two hours to get home. There was a really bad blowing snow storm, the traffic was stop and go. I think Winter 2017/2018 has already broken 6 or 7 records and we're only two weeks in! The Cyclone remains over my holiday.  Maybe you'll consider Canada for your next January holiday? We don't get cyclones.
