I am officially changing my answer. Christmas is 10x better and that's a fact.

I saw a meme yesterday saying how we all need to appreciate Halloween as a very important buffer which keeps Christmas from spreading any earlier into the year. What gospel.

Halloween is not phenomenon for me, Kev. It commemorates nothing either religious or cultural. Religion is every other day. Culture? Bruh. What kinda psychopath prefers Halloween over Christmas? Hahahahaa wtf lmao. That LOL when you have no new Christmas gift. Hahaha

Christmas even overshadow Thanksgiving month. Its shoved down our throats. Thanksgiving is barely even its own holiday anymore. It’s about shopping.

Idk Halloween is more for little kids and it's like not you get a day off from it anyway. Right because who said it was impossible to have fun at school, work, etc on Halloween? Its bandwagon appeal. There is literally nothing to watch on Christmas if it isn't the Grinch or Friday After next. I guarantee you'll outgrow Christmas in 10 years or the like. My family doesn't celebrate Christmas so I used to hate it a lot as a kid. All the Christmas TV shows/movies are EXTREMELY boring and it's usually snowing that day so I can't go outside, and none of my friends wanted to hangout because they were with their families. As an adult though I like the shopping season that precedes Christmas and I appreciate the time of from work.

I also dislike Halloween, Kev, because it is too close to the day my mother died (29th).

Christmas. Halloween is only for kids, and for parents who care enough to join their kids trick or treating. Also, most countries in this world dont celebrate Halloween, while most celebrate Christmas. I stopped celebrating Halloween after seventh grade, which was ten years ago for me. Christmas is fun cause you get all the presents and unlike Halloween, you get time off to relax with your family. Also, the Christmas songs are really nice.

I actually don't understand why Halloween is such a big deal to my American brethren.
