Post any unpopular music opinions you have here.
Here are mine:
* The Foo Fighters should have broke up after the release of One By One in 2002. They were very close to doing so (as there had been tensions within the band at that point), however a positive experience they had performing at a concert convinced them to change their minds. Honestly, I wouldn't be disappointed if their post-2000 songs (e.g "Best of You", "The Pretender") never existed.
* Post Malone is actually talented and is choosing not to live up to his potential for the sake of achieving success in the mainstream.
* "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is the worst song Nirvana ever released. Also, speaking of Nirvana, I personally believe Nevermind is a better album overall than In Utero.
* The BBC 'fixed' the charts to stop the Sex Pistol's "God Save The Queen" from reaching #1 back in 1977.
* "Blurry" by Puddle of Mudd is genuinely a great song.

*Every rock n' roll song from the 1950s sounds exactly the same.
*Rubber Soul was the greatest Beatles album released, not Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band as is often stated
*Disco was popular in 1973 and 1974, contrary to most people who mark its breakthrough year in popularity as 1975

Some more:
* Linkin Park's "What I've Done" is heavily overrated. It's generic, radio-friendly '00s alt-rock that stylistically isn't too different from ilk such as 3 Doors Down's "Here Without You" or "How to Save a Life" by The Fray. Even though I received the CD single for the song shortly after it came out, I have never been a fan of it. I actually prefer the "Distorted Remix" that was released as the B-Side to "Bleed It Out".
* Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" incident was a deliberate, carefully planned marketing ploy by her record label to separate Miley from her Hannah Montanna image.
* Lil Nas X is an industry plant.

The music of the last 30 years (with a few honourable exceptions) is a pile of crap. I love the Beatles but I prefer the Hollies.

This should have been released as the lead single off Taylor Swift's newest album, not "Me!". I've been hearing "Paper Rings" quite a bit on i98fm over the past few weeks and even though i'm personally not a fan of Taylor's music, I would still consider this as being the best song she has released since 1989. I think "Paper Rings" would have fared better on the Top-40 charts as well.
The Hybrid Theory EP is the best album/EP Linkin Park ever released.
Now this is an unpopular opinion, but I personally think Panic at the Disco's most recent songs are better than anything they released before Vices & Virtues.

I really can’t stand "Don’t Stop Believin’" by the Journeys. The production is the epitome of generic power balladry, the lyrics are this vague mashup of inspirational tales and the vocals are whiny. I hate the fact that it is used in so many movies and series to top it off.
People like to bash on glam metal bands’ cheesy and commercial power anthems of their otherwise sleazy discographies, but I honestly can’t see how this is much better than those songs. I will take Bon Jovi’s songs any day of the week over this.

Mid-2010’s hip-hop is better than late 2000’s and early 2010’s hip-hop.

Call Me Maybe is a pop masterpiece. ^ ...and this is crazy. It was overplayed but that's because it was instantly loveable. Of course if you overlay a song it won't be as good as the first time you heard it.

* Many people regard My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade as a modern-rock classic and the best album MCR ever released, but i'm actually of the belief that Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is the better album overall.
* Justin Timberlake's "Filthy" is actually a decent song. People never gave it the chance that it deserved.
* I prefer "The Git Up" over "Old Town Road".
