Dave grohl’s solo album pocketwatch from 1992 is better than the entire foo fighters discography

I personally prefer "We're Good" over all of the other singles released off Future Nostalgia. I can see how "Don't Start Now" and "Break My Heart" would 'objectively' be the better songs, but in all honesty, I would much rather choose to listen to "We're Good" over both of those songs.

Finding good music is actually quite difficult, despite music streaming being so prevalent nowadays.

Dave grohl’s solo album pocketwatch from 1992 is better than the entire foo fighters discography I know this is an old post now, but what's your opinion of the debut album? I am just interested to hear your take on it as most of the songs on the album (eg. "Exhausted") pre-date Kurt's death and the album is less mainstream/polished in comparison to the Foo Fighters' later material.

Pocketwatch has that tightly crafted, strongly emotional, raw alternative feel that could only exist in 1987- early 1994 maybe 1995 at most that runs parallel to the Nirvana style and is super genuine In total contrast to his 94-99 foo fighters material which had more in common with mainstream post grunge from late 94 to 1998-99 like feeder, bush etc as early as the singles off the first album. It even seems like some songs were made for the radio and seem like dumbed down rock ex songs like hero. Total opposite to what Kurt would have done.

Nirvana and Elvis Presley are overrated musicians. I can't get into Nirvana's music. His voice irritates me and his music bores me. I don't know why I pretended to like his music when I was 16-19 years old. I'm also not a fan of The Weeknd, Tyler The Creator, Kali Uchis, Jhene Aiko, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, other mainstream artists of those likes. Speaking as someone who does like Nirvana, I am man enough to admit to them being the most overrated of the grunge bands. The best, in my opinion, was Soundgarden. Chris Cornell had the voice of an angel.
