People who hate "Call Me Maybe" are terrible people in my books, sorry to say. Well it takes one to know one.  You're just jealous that I have a better taste in music by not liking something as bad as "Call Me Maybe".

2008 wasn't as bad as many people make it out to be. Some people consider it as being the worst year for music of the 2000s, but in all honesty, I would much rather take 2008 over 2005/06 any day. I can remember liking the Top-40 charts at the time and even now, I tend to listen to more songs from 2008 than I do from most of the other 2000s years. It was a decent year for music overall, at least here in Australia anyway. These are some of my favourite songs from that year: {Spoiler}

Asshole celebrities make the most catchiest music. I find a lot of songs from R Kelly to be very catchy, even though he's a rapist and a pedophile. But for some reason nicer celebrities just don't make music as catchy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Early 2010's hip-hop lowkey sucks. It's probably my least favorite era for hip-hop tbh. Mid and late 2010's hip-hop is way better.

I really don't get the hype with "Chillhop". To me it just sounds boring since almost none of them tend to have any vocals.
