What would be the starting and ending point for the cultural 2010s zeitgeist?
I would say it began around late 2009 and finished somewhere around 2019. The peak of the zeitgeist would be fall 2013 to spring 2017.

Things started to change quickly around that September.

The peak of the zeitgeist would be fall 2013 to spring 2017. I'd say it lasted into 2020 and came to an abrupt end during the first few months of this year depending on what country you are in. Sure there have been a slow fade-out of 2010s trends, such as Game of Thrones, over the past few years. There wasn't really a dramatic shift into a new culture. I'd say it began sometime between October 2008 and December 2009. I never thought I'd say this, but 2020 has been so horrible and the future looks so bleak that I actually look back fondly on the 2010s.

Hipster a huge sub culture that defines 2010s died out before the end of 2017 by 2020 things already felt different No doubt between September 2008 - November 2008 the 2010s began

Judging by how 2020 has been so far, I don't know how anyone could say that 2019 isn't culturally 2010's. Its obviously 100% late 2010's.

Honestly, I can't put late 2008/early 2009 as the start of the 2010s zeitgeist, it was rather like a prelude instead. Too many late 2000s stuff in that era.

The overall 2010s in my opinion went from late 2009 to very early 2020 (even though you could argue that the latter half 2019 was changing a bit). So it pretty much culturally consisted of it's literal years.
The core 2010s probably ranged from 2012 - 2016.

2019 to me felt like a prototype year Felt like a promising TV show that got cancelled. The huge push of Billie Ellish, my 1 year Emo is coming back as E-Boy on inthe00s prediction coming true, Game of Thrones ending + me finally becoming single and free of toxic bullshit. Also I got HBO for free for 1 year hehe

It depends on which way you look at it. I still don't think we have moved on from the 2010s from a pop culture point of view, even with all what is going on in the world at the moment. In fact, there really doesn't seem to be anything on the horizon, at least not from what I've observed, which suggests that we are entering into a new cultural era. The Top-40 charts are mostly still comprised of songs which debuted last year and 2020 has been a pretty sub-standard year for new music releases so far. Think about it, we're almost in April already, but can you really think of any songs, movies etc. that will define 2020 as a year? Can anyone name something that is uniquely 2020? The coronavirus has had a huge impact on the entertainment industry. The world may be a very different place to what it was six months ago, but from a pop culture perspective, we're still very much in the Late 2010s and we will be for quite some time.
Anyway, to go back on topic, I would say that the cultural zeitgeist of the 2010s began in the second-half of 2009, with it's peak having been between 2013 to 2016, and we still haven't quite moved on from the zeitgeist.
