The new Ratchet and Clank game looks fun tho

Boyyyy was that a long reveal, but I quite like how the PS5 looks. Has a very clean V-shape.
Games-wise, Demon's Soul and Horizon 2 are the true standouts, visually at least. Rest looked like either app games or could have been released 5 years ago on the PS4 🤷🏻

The design is pretty cool too! Starting to put more emphasis on futuristic designs mixing with minimalism, could be the new aesthetic of the decade, who knows

Its too soon. Why even release it when this pandemic shit is still heavy? This is the best time to release it. I haven't gamed as much as this year in almost a decade! Gaming sales are up big time. I'm really excited for this. I mostly missed out on 8th gen but I don't plan on missing out on this! Gran Turismo 7 alone makes this a day 1 purchase for me.

I too missed on the 8th gen entirely because it all looked very unexciting to me, but I'm definitely interested in this gen. And since I'm a longtime Sony boy at heart, PS5 it is. It will have to wait until fall 2021 for me though since I need to work my ass through it to have the $$$ (or €€€ in my case)

For those who missed, here are the designs:  I didn't even notice that there was a fully digital edition. That's actually clever to offer a less expensive alternative, but I'm too old school to wave goodbye to old disk readers

![]() Did any of ya'll watch the livestream of the PlayStation 5 reveal yesterday? It was pretty awesome, and it's definitely made me more hyped for the system! They showcased some great games coming onto the system within the next year or so; Ratceht & Clank, Horizon, RE8. The two that impressed me the most were Ghostwire and that neo-noir looking game called Deathloop. We also finally know what the console is going to look like! I'm officially hyped.
