Post some songs that you think sound fresh here, I'll go first:
Honestly music sounds very different now than it did in 2018. Can you imagine Psycho by Post Malone or God's Plan by Drake coming out today?

Doja Cat really is the freshest sounding popstar rn, who would've thought! Are those songs produced by Dr.Luke tho?

I think we are in a transition which started around late 2018 and will last through 2022 or 2023. 2022 or 2023 will be the one of the last years with music still having 2010s sounds. I pray that we get a 50 Cent moment in 2023, not by the same artist of course, but an event that happens which really ushers in or puts a stamp on the 2020s sound. By 2023 or 2024, we will be in a new musical era with 2010s sounding music extinct. I hope that comes sooner like later this year or in 2022.

I want the 2020s to have their own unique cultural identity. I am sick and tired of the constant rehashes, reboots and sequels which should all be buried in the culturally bankrupt decade, the 2010s.

Like how nirvana kinda killed 80s music with nevermind in late 1991. I hope something similar happens with 10s music in late 2021

One album doesn't magically change the entire music landscape. There's some truth to the common belief that Nirvana killed the '80s. Grunge did finally send hair metal packing. Like you said though, one album doesn't magically change the entire music landscape. Right around that time though, hip-hop, r&b, and euro-dance were also blowing up. Bass was in and reverb was on it's way out.

I'm not sure if you all know this but this artist has songs that are everywhere on Tiktok. I must say, she makes really cute drum n bass:

These four songs sound very 2020s. At the least, they scream 2021. Very fresh and original (the fourth song though has a hint of pop-punk in it which is made a comeback). But all of these songs sound fresh, new, and original.
