www.chatango.com/I've come across a live chatbox plugin, which is compatible on all devices and automatically refreshes when new messages are sent (instead of having to press the "refresh" button in the existing shoutbox). You can also upload images and videos in the live chat. I was just curious, would you like to see this chatbox replace the existing shoutbox?

Yeah, I'm tired of having to click refresh just to see a message. You should add this

The Chatango live chatbox is currently being trialed at the moment. If people are happy with it, I will decide to keep it and remove the existing Shoutbox. You do need to create an account to use the full features of the chatbox, however you only need a username and an email address to create an account (which is free). Please be mindful that your email address may be shown publicly. I'm looking to see if there is a way to hide them, but I can't guarantee that I will be able to find a way to make them private.

I've just discovered this, but email addresses are set to private as well. Other people can't see what your email address is, which is good to hear.

Keep both, for a compairason. I've created an account '''SkittlesP'' I don't think it's worth keeping the Shoutbox, because it will hardly ever be used now.

To be honest, I sort of think that the chatbox in the bottom right-hand corner is a bit obtrusive. There isn't a way to make it any smaller, unfortunately.

I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to make this into a proper announcement and see what everyone thinks of the idea. I don't mind implementing the live-chat, but only if enough people are satisfied with it and don't mind having the "chatbox" in the bottom right-hand corner.

I’ve never used it actually. Haha. It wasn't the Shoutbox, which was at the bottom of the page. It was a separate chatbox, which was situated on the right-hand corner of the page.
