]Yes they are all electronic based and pop. But those are very broad genres. You could lump them all together under the same banner from a broad point of view but they still sound very different. The electropop of 2011-2013 sounds closer to EDM than the electropop of 2008-2010 despite EDM being considered a completely seperate genre. You're basically confirming my point. The differences lie on the production. Some of those songs are production-wise more influenced by things like electro house than others. The same way "Roses" is a future house song and "Bad Habits" is a pop song with future house beats. No because I never said Bad Habits and Roses are part of the same genre. They are day and night not only production wise but also vocally.
