Maybe the issue is just that Australian servers take awhile to reach North America, but pretty much consistently, this website's performance is significantly more delayed than any of my other usual websites. Whenever I access my Activity Monitor, Popedia's %CPU is consistently extremely high, meaning it's requiring more effort on part of my computer.

I thought the loading speeds may have just been because of my internet connection, to be honest. I can look into it and i'll contact the Proboards staff (the host provider of Popedia) about the issue, but i'm not really sure what can be done. Australian internet is generally quite poor, so maybe the servers are the issue. Heck, even Kenya has better internet speeds than us.

#InfinityI'm not sure if it will help or not, but I've just cleared the caches and cookies of my internet browser, and it has improved the loading speeds.

Speeds are fine for me but that could be because it's what I'm used to and I really only use forums. It's on par with them all though.

I really don’t have one of the fastest connections going around but there’s no issues in regards to speed of the forum for me either.

Just out of curiosity, how long does it generally take to load a page on Popedia? It usually takes around 2-3 seconds for me (sometimes 4, depending on my internet connection), but the loading speeds are similar to inthe00s, at least from where I am.

Right now, Popedia is sort of slow for me but that may just be my computer I'm using. It's an old one I had for 4 years. It doesn't run as smoothly as it used to. We had to reset it because it wasn't working.

Yeah, it's okay for me on mobile. I find the site on desktop a bit clunky, I think it's because the shout box takes a while to load.
