I'm pretty sure everybody and their mother both on this website and the other website already saw this video. The guy's a railer. But he is absolutely right that in 2006 everything started sucking. Imo it was around 2009/2010 when everything started to suck

I don't understand how people don't choose 2020 since that was the last year we had normalcy in January and February. It's never been the same since then. I look back very very fondly at that time which is strange because it was only 2 years ago but that's how much the world has changed for the worst. January of 2020 is looked back on as a very innocent time imo. Ontario doesn't apply to everywhere

Two months out of the year don't automatically make it good, especially when the worst of the lockdowns + George Floyd + an economic crash all happened that year.

2021 but only january to august (september to december sucked but 2022 has been good so far I feel the opposite. The first few months werent too great because lockdown was still in effect but in may when lockdown ended it felt so liberating and in general the rest of the year was smoother than the first four months. i’m biased bc it was my senior year and i loved that part of my life but it was also nostalgic bc olivia rodrigo came out with her album, and late 2021 a friend of mine committed suicide and then the school shooting at oxford high (which is like 45 minutes from me) happened in november and the week after that there were tons of threats around the whole metro detroit and yea just not a good time lol

2021 for me.
I will say around June of this year we will see a slight shift. I don't know what this upcoming summer will bring to us.

They say that mostly because of things like the recession, the swine flu pandemic, Cartoon Network airing live-action stuff, Michael Jackson's death, Nickelodeon changing their logo, etc. It's mostly 2008-2009 that get complained about. 2007 on the other hand is very well-liked on the internet. The mid 00s in general probably received the least amount of complaints when people talked about how bad the 2000s was. I think because it was a largely peaceful era with pop culture that tends to be loved online (GTA San Andreas, Drake and Josh, Avatar: The Last Airbender). It was until recently when everyone shat on 2007-2009 in its entirety. People are just now redeeming 2007 because it was the last year before the recession. But still: Lol @ the idiots saying nothing has changed since 2012, these people must have brain damage or they are extremely disingenuous

Plenty has changed since then.

Almost like it somewhat recent, even if it was 10 years ago.

Even 2013 still feels asinine to me. 2015-2016 was a shift where political divisions ramped up, memes exploded in popularity, trump got elected, etc. 2019-2020 was also a shift. Even in like 2016 it felt miles away from 2012. It doesn't feel like yesterday to me at all. The last year that feels remotely "yesterday" to me would be 2019.

the poll stats looks like a sideways rocket(or a penis) lol I like penis better, because it's funnier lol Anyways I'm personally not surprised at all 2021 is winning. I mean, 2020 sucked ass for obvious reasons, and 2022 isn't even halfway done yet so we have no idea whether it'll turn out to be a great year or a terrible year. 2021 isn't even that good a year (even though in my personal life it actually was), but it's a hell of a lot better than 2020.

It was where we started phasing covid out when it could have very much escalated and turned to something like this: Pop culture is super underrated. I'd say it's the only year with decent music since like 10 years also pretty good year in gaming PS5 felt new and exciting great games came out like deathloop, scarlet nexus and guilty gear strive. The overall atmosphere was so chill. One of my favourite years.
