Grunge's entire aesthetic didn't revolve around blondes only Yeah but I just think being blond certainly doesn't hurt looking grunge. The early-mid 90s were more about messy long hair, whilst the late 90s were about short hair. Also, I think what you said mostly applies to females (granted, the late 90s were quite feminine, but still). Most males still had whatever hair they wanted.

I'm talking mostly about the trends of the 90s lol it obviously won't apply to everyone because not everyone was partaking them

I know but you said that men in the 90s wore whatever they wanted and made it kinda sound like they weren't following they're own trends at the time. But other then that yes, for women in the late 90s, Blonde seemed to be the go to color at the time. I mean it was the era when girl pop stars like Britney and her copies came out.

It was a much more casual decade for men's fashion though compared to the 80s and 00s. Anti-fashion defined the first half of the 90s and was associated with grunge.

I'm aware, the later half is where things got a bit more exciting during the Y2K era when younger men started to dye they're hair in eccentric colors.

I love it. My Favorites are 1999, 2001, 2005, 2009 and 2011. How did you do that? Just curious.

What pissed me off more about the early-mid 90s were all the goddamn obnoxious extreme close-ups and fisheye effects, not to mention blatant attempts to be edgy and cool. I keep bringing this up but it REALLY is the best example, but the infamous Nintendo Play It Loud campaign perfectly exemplifies the mid 90s aesthetic. I noticed this particular aesthetic watching 90s commercials, particularly from 1993-1998. They used shaky and seizure-inducing effects, grungy fonts and colors(Either sepia, black, or dark blue), and edgy voiceovers. The PlayStation commercials from 1995-1996 also fit very well into this category

Can you do one for 2013? I'm thinking sepia + vignette

Can you do one for 2013? I'm thinking sepia + vignette 2013 would just be the same as 2014. That was literally the year flat design became popular with iOS 7.
