I love the Y2K aesthetic so much but there is something very welcoming about the Fruiter Aero/skeumorphism feel.

The only electro pop song before 2008 was Sexy Back though Britney Spears' Blackout and Kanye West's Graduation both came out in 2007 and were heavily influential to electropop even if not necessarily full-fledged examples.
