Checked out Brat the other day because I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Thought it was pretty good. This one is my favourite off the album.

Hey everyone, check out the song "Brand New Dance" by Eminem. It's the latest thing. You won't regret it.

This is something I've been closely following over the past few days. I listened to the new song for the first time a couple of days ago and while it's not as bad as I was expecting it to be, I still can't really come to terms with the band moving forward with a new singer. Linkin Park were my favourite band when I was a kid and a huge part of why I loved their music so much was the dynamic between Chester and Mike.
As a huge LP fan even to this day, i'm not pleased with the outcome or the decisions made by the band. Oh well..

They have a special place in my heart but recently I became less of a fan of them for growth reasons. This feels wrong to me tho. Not necessarily unacceptable, but its unexpected. We need more vows like TLC has made for Left Eye. I loath this saying but Linkin Park is a relic.

The Weekend's new song "Indescribable" is good. Only thing is it's the same sound we've heard since 2019, and even before that '80s rehashes happened so it's nothing new. There is no distinct 2020s sound yet. 2025 maybe?

That new TheWeeknd song kind of sounds thin and ugly to me. It doesn't even sound like a proper 80s throwback, more like some bizarre mash of a couple of genres like new wave, disco and so on.
Just wanted to inject in by saying it's impressive how deeper she keeps digging her career's grave at this point. She's pretty much a caricature of her old self at this point, but literally nobody cares about her music this time anyway.

"Taste" has been the #1 song here for seven weeks now. It's not too bad of a song, but i'm just dumbfounded by how well it's doing on the charts; it has even outperformed "Espresso" and "Please Please Please". 2024 has generally been a decent year for the Top-40 charts, but I've been noticing that they have started to become stagnant over the past couple of months or so. "Taste" strangle-holding the #1 spot really isn't helping.

She may even overtake Taylor Swift who knows.
