It's really funny to think that we had to wait until the 2020s for Nicki to have her first Billboard #1 despite releasing literally a million collabs in the entire 2010s.
The remix is a bit worse than the original since it lost that great entire first section for the Nicki part but oh well.

Congrats to Nicki on getting that number one. 69 should go hide in a closet and never return to music.

More forgettable pop from an artist that lost its appeal with teenagers and now fully targets moms instead Oh by the way #Infinity I was thinking how you were disenchanted with the vacuous hedonism of recent popular rap music so I wanted to know your opinion on the recent rise of Doja Cat, since she admitted in an "interview" (in which she was cute btw) she also disliked the trend: She's also looks up to and takes influences from Nicki Minaj which I recall you were disappointed to see drop in popularity. I've been checking out her back catalog recently and there's definitely some very solid stuff:

I like Katy but "Daisies" was not the track I was expecting at all; it's more of an album track lacking the punch needed for a lead single. While I understand and respect that change is inevitable for an artist seeking artistic growth, I just wish we would have gotten something like "Harleys In Hawaii".

I really like Doja Cat, I think she's taking things in a new and interesting direction. Also Bottom Bitch is like nostalgia porn for folks who came of age in the days of Limp Bizkit and Crazy Town.

I enjoy her more than Cardi. However, she has used the homophobic f-word a lot, which shocked and disappointed me, and didn't do a great job apologizing. I'm guessing she isn't that insensitive on it now though (the controversy occurred in 2018, before "Say So"), especially since she's bisexual.

Ah that's a shame to learn but I guess it's not as bad if she's part of the community.

Seeing how this is climbing up the charts and that Benee is from New Zealand, I really wish we see another "Royals" scenario where this song serves as an avenue for this kind of dreamy, funky, fleshed out bedroom pop sound like the former song did for minimalist, depressive music.

I actually don’t think this song is bad. I prefer this type of music over depressing Billie Eilish music.

That song has been charting here in Australia since the end of March. It's okay, although I prefer "Glitter" out of the two.

Really hope Supalonely sparks a big interest for bedroom pop from the GP.

2020 just gets worse and worse, doesn't it? We're almost six months in and things have not improved on the music front at all, this year is almost as bad as 2016 (if not, worse) in terms of what is popular on the charts. Probably the only two songs within the Top-40 that I genuinely consider good are Post Malone's "Circles" and "Adore You" by Harry Styles, and they're both carryovers from 2019. Dua Lipa's and The Weeknd's songs aren't bad, but they're not enough to save what is otherwise an absolute stinker of a year in music.

I could easily make a top 10 of my favorite songs by this time in 2018 while I can literally count the amount of good 2020 songs on one hand. It really doesn't help that most artists are forced to stay at home and not release anything while jerks like 6ix9ine take advantage of the situation to unleash their cancerous mediocrity upon us.

Speaking of bedroom pop, this could be a breakthrough for lo-fi hip hop.

It's actually disappointing because 2020 actually started off as a decent year for music, but now "Gooba" is the third most popular song on the Billboard Charts as of May 23 2020.
