Man, some people on Mediaspy just make me cringe... Media Spy isn't a friendly or welcoming community. That's why I don't post on there anymore. The admins of the site aren't any better than some of the members who post things like that.

The admins of the site aren't any better than some of the members who post things like that. Yeah. I don't post on there a lot, only when something interesting happened on some TV networks. I don't post my opinions on certain threads on the MS site, because I know a lot of certain members/mods/admins just don't take opinions seriously.

I think a lot of the Media Spy members/admins have really big egos. They're also really rude to other members, especially new registered members. I can't even remember the last time a new member registered and became a regular member. To be honest, my frustration with the Media Spy boards is one of the reasons why I decided to create Popedia.

I do like Media Spy for various reasons, but there is one user there who is really frustrating. Someone who is extremely stubborn and pedantic, however not a member of site staff. Shoudn't really take ten guesses.

I don't really spend much time browsing/posting in the threads on Media Spy though, so that's probably why.

Just while we're talking about Media Spy, one thing which I find particularly annoying about the forum is how most of the members on there have no personality. I like to joke and banter around from time to time as you know, but I don't even attempt to do so on Media Spy anymore, as I only ever seem to get the same calculated, robotic responses from people. It's part of the reason as to why I rarely post on there. I know not everyone likes to banter/joke and that's fair enough, but they could at least express a bit of their personality. Half the time it feels like you're talking to a robot when you speak to someone on Media Spy. I mean, there are quite a few good members on Media Spy who aren't on here, but most of them have no personality whatsoever.

Random and not a very important mini rant, but in the media vault on Media Spy the other day, someone posted screenshots of my vids with my watermark on them and they don't even give credit lol. I already said this on twitter, but if someone is gonna do that, then give credit or crop my watermark out so its not as obvious. It's not really bothering me, but some users on that site are just annoying!

Random and not a very important mini rant, but in the media vault on Media Spy the other day, someone posted screenshots of my vids with my watermark on them and they don't even give credit lol. I already said this on twitter, but if someone is gonna do that, then give credit or crop my watermark out so its not as obvious. It's not really bothering me, but some users on that site are just annoying! There are certain users on that site that annoy me, especially when they go off topic on one of my Vault submissions.

I get frustrated at users who make repetitive posts which seem to be unnecessary. I can see myself contributing to this thread quite frequently!

Anyone else notice screenshots from one of my videos being posted on media spy yesterday? It kind of annoys me considering my YT name is in the corner of the pics and stands out... I did notice that. I certainly understand your frustration, as it annoys me too. if you wanted to post caps of your own collection, you would do it yourself! The Vault threads now get constantly filled with caps from YouTube videos which aren't of the best quality. I don't understand the need to have constant caps of Larry Emdur there as well. The contribitions from Zampakid and AussieTV are always good though, but the rest I usually just ignore.
