If you had a Nobel Prize you would brag too mhmmmkay. For real though calling inthe00s dead might've been premature. It is always slow in the Northern Hemisphere summer. Although at the moment it's mainly animated by that anti-vaxxer. There are some users who posted during the beginning of the year but not anymore that I'm starting to miss. It's not the activity of their site that concerns me, I really couldn't care less if i'm being honest. What gets me is how they don't seem to recognise how LyricBoy stirred all this up and caused tension by stealing topics from our forum for an extended period of time. Even that "bad, bad, LyricBoy" post that CatwomanV made reeks of arrogance to me. It's a complete joke. As someone who has been on inthe00s since 2011, I always did have a positive impression of her. Now I'm starting to believe it was wrong.

Now I'm starting to believe it was wrong. So did I. I've sent her messages in the past in regards to certain things and she was always more than helpful. I think part of the issue is the fact that there's a degree of favouritism towards the older members on their forum. Even though LyricBoy was in the wrong in regards to this incident, she was never going to blame him for it as he's been a member on that site for over 16 years. He can get away with anything. In any case, my opinion of her has since changed as well.

I don't think she meant to say anything about Popedia, it was just a segue into her joke about Howard. I don't see anything wrong with the joke she directed at Howard. The issue, at least how I personally see it, is more down to how the older members of inthe00s are treated as being 'above' everyone else. Anyone could see that LyricBoy was in the wrong for what he chose to do, and yet, CatwomanV (as well as most of the other members on the site) didn't see it that way. This is because LyricBoy has been a member on inthe00s for over 16 years and is apart of that 'group'. It's pretty much no different to a "boys club". There's certain members who could get away with murder so to speak and wouldn't ever be held accountable because of their status on the website.

I mean, when you look at how her husbando behaves, some of her more questionable behaviors start to make sense.

Believe it or not, Popedia has now been in 'lockdown' for six months. Guests can access the forum, however the content itself remains off-limits and it isn't possible to read topics on Popedia if you are not signed-in.
Just out of curiosity, how does everyone feel about it? Do you believe it has had an impact on the forum activity levels? Should we continue to restrict access to our forum going forward?

I think it's time to open back up the flood gates, have a watchful eye for LyricBoy and if you see something close it back up

I'm really not sure of the best way to solve this, unfortunately. We need Inthe00s's support to stop LyricBoy and they seem entirely uninterested in doing so.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention John Titor , I will keep a close eye on things over the next day or so and decide on a course of action from there. I'm really not sure of the best way to solve this, unfortunately. We need Inthe00s's support to stop LyricBoy and they seem entirely uninterested in doing so. I wouldn't even want to co-operate with inthe00s after the way in which they chose to respond to the situation last time, tbh. I really don't think highly of the forum or most of the people on there at all anymore. It's hard to know how exactly we can put a stop to all this. Keeping our forum in "lockdown" (by preventing guests from viewing threads/sub-forums) probably isn't the best way to go about it going forward, as I feel as though it has actually had a bit of an negative impact on the activity levels of Popedia over the past six months. Another option we could consider could be to possibly ban every IP address from the city that LyricBoy comes from. It would be possible to do, however, it's something that will really need to be looked into first though.
