What happened in 2008 and 2009 is irrelevant to pre 2005. It didn't feel like there was an instant shift into a new decade in late 2008 to me. But of course gatekeep when theres no real reason to. you don't have 2004, 2003, 2002 or 2001 memories to feel all of the 2000s core energy, you only have witnessed late 05, 06, 07, 08 and 09, the bolded is when the 2000s feeling was declining, thats all you have to base your feelings on. I'm not talking about the overall 00s I mean the late 00s. It didn't feel like the late 00s became the early 10s in any point in 08.
