think about exactly about what you are trying to say You are trying to say 1997 1998 1999 were not 90s years ? Thats like saying 2017 2018 2019 are not 2010s years .. LMAO of course those years are part of their respective decade and have their own culture. 1997 -1999is the 90s ( a different kind of 90s) whether you like it or not they are numbered 97 98 and 99. In 1997-1998 there was a shift happening, it was not just 1998 the created a shift. As I posted above you were hearing 1997 type songs on the radio in 2000, the production barely changed until late 2001. Like I said, if you want to say 1999 was a '90s year go ahead. I'll accept that. It was a '90s year numerically, so you can't argue against that fact. BUT take your hands off 2000. Leave that year alone. 2000 WAS 100% 2000S, NOT 90s 90s things in 2000
- ABC's TGIF block - BOY MEETS WORLD with new episodes ( show started in 1993) - Teen Pop all over the radio - Max Martin 1997-1999 style production in said songs - People still playing Nintendo 64 and PS1 ( systems that took off in 96/97) - Bill Clinton who got elected in 1992 was still there in 2000 - Pokemania was still huge until Q4 2000 ( Pokemania blew up in Q4 1998 and Q1 1999)
you may not like it but 1997 and 1998 and 1999 all have 99 in their names because it's a 90s year

Pokemon on the News in 1999
Pretty sure everything listed above took place in the decade with nines not 00s, mosly everything posted above happen in 96 and 97, last time I checked 1996 and 1997 are not 2000s years.

That's because you don't understand 1999 is not a cultural 90s year and that the 2000s culture already replaced 90s culture by that point.

John Titor, may I ask how old are you? I thought you were older than me but maybe I misremembered that. You may be younger than I am so that would explain why you think that way since you don't have the same memories that I have. You guys are very wrong on this.

- Pokemania a fad started in the year called 1998 still popular in the year 2000 ( trend started in the 90s) - Max Martin 97style pop huge in 2000 ( trend started in the 90s) - Bill Clinton still president in 2000 ( was elected in the early 90s) -Abc's TGIF still on TV in 2000 ( started in the late 80s but blew up in the early 90s) - Boy Meets World new episodes on Tv in 2000 ( Show debuted in 1993) - People playing Nintendo 64 and PS1 ( N64 came out in 1996 and Ps1 came out in 1995 ! )
Everything listed above came out in the 90s and was red hot in the 90s and was still popular in 2000
