John Titor, may I ask how old are you? I thought you were older than me but maybe I misremembered that. You may be younger than I am so that would explain why you think that way since you don't have the same memories that I have. You guys are very wrong on this. Late 80s baby Then you should know

I am not saying 2000 was 100% the 90s but you are refusing to acknowledge key mid 90s properties remained hot in 2000 such as Boy Meets World, TGIF as well as 1995's Playstation which had games like Smackdown 2! and Tony Hawk's Pro skater 2 in 2000.

Those trends you listed were not very relevant at all.. It was not '90s at all. No way. Besides, you listed trends from the mid 90s. Everyone knows the true 90s were in the early 90s when grunge was popular.

So you say 2000s culture replaced 90s culture by 1999.. lets check it out to see if this is true
- Pokemania a fad started in the year called 1998 still popular in the year 2000 ( trend started in the 90s) - Max Martin 97style pop huge in 2000 ( trend started in the 90s) - Bill Clinton still president in 2000 ( was elected in the early 90s) -Abc's TGIF still on TV in 2000 ( started in the late 80s but blew up in the early 90s) - Boy Meets World new episodes on Tv in 2000 ( Show debuted in 1993) - People playing Nintendo 64 and PS1 ( N64 came out in 1996 and Ps1 came out in 1995 ! )
Everything listed above came out in the 90s and was red hot in the 90s and was still popular in 2000
Those things you listed were not very relevant at all.. They were though. Most of the big games that came out in 2000 were either Dreamcast games (which itself came out in 1999), or PS1/N64 games. Most people were also using Windows 98, which, well, you can look at the name of the system to figure out when it came out LMAO. Another 90s thing that remained big in the early 2000s? AOL COMMERCIALS.Holy shit they were everywhere back then.

Perfect Dark played more like Goldeneye and less like Halo.

I will NEVER change my mind about this.
Just as how I won't change my mind that the mid 2000s started in 2003 and ended in 2005. And that the early 2000s were the true 2000s. And other "unpopular" opinions.

Yes they were LOL lets take a deep dive Pokemon the Movie 2000 The film was financially successful. It earned $9,250,000 on opening day,[9] which was only less than $1 million behind the opening day of its predecessor Pokemon Gold and Silver Pokémon Gold and Silver continued the enormous success of Pokémon Red and Blue, beginning the formation of Pokémon into a multi-billion dollar franchise

You will never acknowledge late 1996 1997 1998 and 1999 are all 90s years, those years don't just become non canon because you don't like them lol
