It's sad to think that most of these VHS tapes listed for sale will probably be taped over or just simply left to deteriorate.  The new owners most likely wouldn't preserve the content on the tapes at all.

It is such a shame. I saw some at an op shop yesterday with mostly late 80s content, but I didn't grab them because I didn't have any money. Should've asked them to keep them on hold for you, usually they'll oblige to keep them on hold for you once you return back there.

If you visit the same place in the next few days or so they might be still there to purchase. I very much doubt they’d be in such demand.
