You mean the music video? Cause the song sounds nothing like a 2010 song lol It’s because hearing the lyric “love is a drug” instantly reminds me of Ke$ha’s 2010 iconic masterpiece: Lmao. Though for real, the chorus does remind me of a few Ke$ha songs.

Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory 20th Anniversary release was today. I'm going hogwild on these demos. I've been listening to them too. What do you think of "Pictureboard"? Considering the fact that both Mike and Chester downplayed the quality of it over the years, I actually think it's pretty good and would easily have to be on par with the songs off the EP in terms of how good it is. Their demos are so much better than their official releases.

As I've gotten older, I've come to realize there is often a reason some songs and demo versions end up on the cutting room floor. That being said, I have long been a fan of the various versions of Points of Authority that are now finally seeing official release.

She was featured in the song Death Bed. I really like this single of hers, very 90s alternative inspired

I'm really liking Harry Styles' new single "Golden", it reminds me a lot of Powderfinger's releases from around 2009/2010.

Wow, Sia has quite the potty mouth: Was she under the influence of something when she made those tweets or is that just who she is as a person? It's completely changed my perception of her.

The Weeknd getting zero nominations for the upcoming Grammy ceremony is dreadful.

Miley Cyrus released her new album two days ago. Interestingly, RYM have tagged it as a pop-rock record, which I honestly wasn't expecting given the fact that "Midnight Sky" is more of a new-wave inspired, synthpop song. It makes sense though as the album even contains a cover of "Zombie" by The Cranberries and special guest features by both Billy Idol and Joan Jett. I hadn't planned on giving it a listen, but now its got me intrigued!
The second-half of 2020 has shaped up to be something of an interesting time for rock music, what with Machine Gun Kelly's pop-punk album exceeding expectations, crossover songs such as "Mood" and "Come and Go", as well as now Miley Cyrus' new album. Now all we need is for Post Malone to release a rock record!
