I really didn't like a lot of internet culture of the mid-2010s either Mr Enter videos, GoAnimate, lets players, tons of Vine compilations, cringe compilations, commentary videos. A lot of it just seemed so toxic, and almost like a precursor to the cancel culture of today.

Let's not forget about this travesty inflicted to the world in the mid-2010s That's the early 2010s, i remember seeing ads for it back then. I personally love it, but it is very inefficient It's more mid-2010s because that's when most people got it. Early 2010s would be Windows 7. It came out in late October 2009, and most people got it shortly after.

This is what many young adult men aspire to be at the time.

Never seen anyone using win 8 back then Some people kept using win 7, others waited for win 8.1. eventually everyone migrated to win 10

I can't stand the Chainsmokers. I swear, if I hear that Closer song again I'm gonna blow my brains out lol.

I can barely remember them tbh. They just sort of flew past for me. They were honestly a short blur between the early 2010s and late 2010s. I think mid 2013-mid 2014 is more like the early 2010s, late 2014-early 2015 as a transition period and mid 2015-mid 2016 is more like the late 2010s.

2014 was sh*t. 2015 was good on internet forums. 2016 was lit, Views, peak Pokemon Go and Trump memes go hard.

Wii U had some excellent games, and the 2DS was more durable and less fragile than standard 3DS models.
Financially, it was a low point, but in terms of quality, I think the Wii U and 3DS were both improvements over the Wii and DS.

Its aesthetics might be getting into tacky territory, but come on now, I would take that era over this one any day of the week, as much as I hate 2014 and 2016 vehemently.

I really didn't like a lot of internet culture of the mid-2010s either. Yeah I truly believe it was a dark age for internet culture. It's not brilliant nowadays but dear god if it's not an improvement over back then. It started to decline in 2013 and it really bit the dust around 2016. Memes from that time were truly a low point.
