Please justify your vote, this thread is kind of useless if we don't get to debate things
I'm talking about pop culture.
I'll vote for the 2010s, the 2000s were the decade of 'light' but vibrant colors, the 90s were the decade of the dark but 'strong' colors.
The 80s... Well, I don't know why I'm even including this one here lol.
The 70s was the decade of the 'earthy' colors.
The 2010s were a very colorless decade, it was the decade of pastel colors, the decade of white and gray.
Vibrant colors are slowly coming back in 2021.
Imo, the 2020s will be way more vibrant, as a backlash to the gray 10s, just like the 90s saw backlash to the neon 80s.

Btw, i choose not to include the 50s and 60s because i didn't want the poll to end up too long (lol).
The 60s, at least the late 60s, were very vibrant.
And the 50s were basically 'Pastel Colors - the decade'

The 2000s. Can’t think of a single color that reminds me of that decade or any color that is universally agreed upon to represent that era

I voted for the 2000s. You could argue the point that bright pinks/blues etc. may have defined the zeitgeist of the early 2000s, but what defines the second-half of the decade?

There was 2 other parts the mid and late The mid is defined by surf colors and Pink along with brown, black and olive the late is defined by Scene colors and bright colors very hyper color colors. As for aessthics in the late 2000s, things took on a Ihome white scheme ( xbox 360,Imac,Ipod)

The 2000s. Can’t think of a single color that reminds me of that decade or any color that is universally agreed upon to represent that era I can think of 3 palettes for the 2000s: early 00s y2k blue/cyan, mid 2000s vibrant pink (the micblin era) and the late 2000s saw the return of vibrant colors. But yeah, I can't think of a definitive 2000s palette. 70s: earthy 80s: neon 90s: dark 00s: no idea 10s: pastel Edit: still, i wouldn't call the zeroes "colorless"

I think the 70s were the deacade of brown, orange and very cream-ish yellow(s) I would definitely not call them colorless, the 70s had a darker palette than the 50s and 60s. But even the most boring 70s colors were more vibrant than the colors of the 2010s. Edit: had to correct several typos

I see pink, bright blue(s), a bunch of dark brown and subdued colors too. The early 00s were like -90s grunge meets new millennium pastel-

I feel like the 2000s definitely had more color than the 2010s. I mean, look at the cars, clothes, and tech in that era and compare it to the 2010s.
