There doesn't seem to be that many listings on Ebay and Gumtree at the moment. I tried searching for prerecorded VHS tapes just a few minutes ago, but nothing came up. There has been a few listings on eBay a few weeks ago. I did manage to buy 28 recorded VHS Tapes on eBay from Sydney for a good price (the guy originally wanted $50 for the lot, but he accepted my offer of $30) and did find some content (see TV History thread).

Ah okay. Admittedly, I haven't searched for prerecorded VHS tapes in quite a while. I've been meaning to search for them more often, but I just never get around to doing so.  It's good to hear that you bought those tapes at a reduced price.  Did you drive up to Sydney to purchase them or did you pay for postage?

That's pretty good then. You definitely got a good deal, by the sounds of it. Yeah. I will be planning on buying more tapes from eBay whenever they pop up again and are at my budget.

Got 12 recorded tapes from eBay a few days ago, all containing Perth TV content ranging from 2004-08. I've ordered another 12 from the same eBayer.

The Sifon would go nuts over those tapes! It's an interesting listing, although i'm not sure if I would be keen on the idea of having to pay up to $19 (postage fees included) just for one VHS tape.
