I don't think I would buy used VHS tapes these days. Unless I'm really desperate (maybe in the future lol) and pay very little then I would. I just try and ask people I know. To be honest, I’ve never bought any used tapes online before. I mean, I’ve been tempted a couple of times in the past but I can think of better worthwhile uses spending my money on.

No thanks. Not so much an issue of storage space for mine, but I already have about 200+ or so of my own still to do one day. I'm pretty much in the same boat, even though I only have about 30 tapes. In all these years that I have been converting and uploading VHS content onto YouTube, I have yet to do a full tape. I'm too lazy to do so.

I keep trying to hold myself from purchasing VHS tapes online but I can't help myself. I always message the sellers with a lower offer and they would often accept them since they're really not worth a cent...

Yeah, too expensive. And those Sydney 2000 Olympics tapes probably wouldn't have any ads on them judging by the "detailed" labels.

I'll be honest, I haven't searched for tapes on eBay or Gumtree for almost a year, but I don't suppose there have been any listed on the two sites over the past few months? I would be surprised if any were listed before the end of the year.

I haven't seen many listed, although there were some tapes from MelbGP listed a few weeks ago. @zampakid found some from Sydney though Hopefully considering people are home, and are maybe cleaning out, after this we will see an influx. Fingers crossed

Who uses VHS these days? Its not 2007. People use this thing called Netflix along with other streaming services called Hulu and Amazon Prime.

@zampakid did you end up picking these up? I noticed that you found some really good stuff from Adelaide!

I was considering bidding for them, but decided against it. Some of the labels were very intriguing to me. However, I don't have converting equipment yet, so they would have just remained in the box collecting dust if I purchased them. There is that risk of decay as well. It's good that you purchased them! Recordings from Adelaide seem to be hard to come by, and most of the content you've found is stuff I certainly haven't seen.
